Results May Vary Painting at Sotheby's
Results May Vary is one of my favorite designs. It captures my dedication to bold colors and line work while celebrating psychedelic spontaneity and the joy of creation. It popped out of my marker while on vacation, sitting on a back porch, channeling years of input with literally nothing in my head at that exact moment.
Results May Vary is about the beautiful, possibly horrifying risk involved with ingesting self-prescribed compounds for personal betterment and mind expansion. It is about the courage to implement a plan and take responsibility for the consequences. I am psyched that it is one of our best-selling graphics.
All of my paintings are on one-of-a-kind wooden canvases, handcrafted with a jigsaw and sander, and painted in my studio in Santa Cruz, California. I’m excited to have Results May Vary appear amongst works by Andy Warhol, Chuck Close, and Sol LeWitt at the Sotheby’s Contemporary Discoveries auction. LFG!
