A letter from Rob

Dear Friends,

We’ve officially made it to year 15 in Killer Acid land! In 2010 this project crawled out of the primordial ooze, grew legs, and reached the shoreline to morph into its final form: a fully functioning beast with an unquenchable appetite for the strange and unique.

I look back at my younger self, schlepping tubs of t-shirts to local craft fairs and far away book fairs, oblivious to the fact that I’d one day have a graying beard, a daughter, and more knowledge than anyone wants about tax and copyright laws. I sometimes think of that original ooze – how to keep things fun and new.

This year I aim to keep my antenna tuned into the chaos and to put out even more designs. My fatal flaw is being physically unable to phone it in. About 90% of my work never gets seen; we take care to make sure the tip of the iceberg is worthy of your eyeballs.

Here in year 15, I also aim to cut myself some slack, and reach into the archives for some reissues of long out-of-print, but oft-requested designs. That is, in addition to rolling out stuff you've never seen from us. Some special collaborations are already in the works.

I want to thank each and every one of you for continuing to support Killer Acid. Your generosity, patience, and funny comments do not go unnoticed. Much peace, love, and magic to you in the new year!
